Q: Do I need to be an experienced kayaker?

A: Anyone who is in average physical condition can paddle a kayak on any of our tours in tadem kayaks. Discovery Sea Kayaks tours in tandem kayaks are suitable for beginner or experienced paddlers. We use double and triple kayaks designed to be stable and easily paddled. Our guides will give you lessons and show you all you need to know to safely enjoy your tour.

 

Q: Do I need to bring anything?

A: Discovery Sea Kayaks provides all necessary equipment: paddles, life vests, safety gear, spray skirt. You should most certainly bring a camera, (waterproof disposable are the best), sunglasses, hat, rain jacket, layered clothing (depending on temperature), beach shoes and sun block are also recommended.

 

Q: Will I have to get wet?

A: Entering and exiting the kayak you may get your feet wet. We provide paddle pants and tops to prevent from getting your clothes wet from paddle drip or from spray in windy conditions.

 

Q: What about the weather?

A: We don’t go out if the weather is stormy or if the seas are rough. Light rain is usually no problem.
