What's the best time of year to sea kayak San Juan Island.
The San Juan Island Kayak season runs from April through October. We believe any of the months we operate are great. April and May can have variable weather with periods of rain and temperatures in the mid-50s. As we move into June and early July, the temperatures are warmer with less chance of precipitation is less. Late July through August are the warmest and dryest months, therefore the more popular months. September the temperatures start to all back to the mid to low 50s.
