When approaching Roche Harbor, stay on the high road that loops up above most of the buildings (and eventually drops back down towards the marina.) Before the road descends the trailhead will be on the left. Depending on how much time you have, you can decide which trails to explore. Most are short and several end in wonderful views peeking out over the Haro Strait or north over the Marina towards Stuart Island.

This entire area used to be part of the lime quarry operation Roche Harbor owes its existence to. When you finish your hike, bike down towards the marina and be sure not to miss the old kilns and quarry equipment that are on display at the bottom of the hill.
